The sessions will be completely focussed on you, suited to your pace. I work in a collaborative manner, working towards treatment goals set by yourself. Or if you’re unsure of your goals, we can work together to discover them.
Guided by You:
By providing a safe, nurturing space in which to explore your thoughts and feelings, my role is to support you to identify the issues which are causing distress. Using CBT techniques, we can work together to resolve these issues and equip you with valuable tools to empower you to find solutions now, and in the future.
Upon our initial appointment, we will discuss any issues that you would like to bring to counselling. Counselling is a collaborative process and I want you to feel completely comfortable working with me. You are under no obligation to continue working with me after this initial appointment.
For your information, I provide you with a counselling contract prior to our first meeting.
